I started The Gotham Dog Company on a simple conviction: dog care in this city should be a profession, not a side hustle. So I keep it personal. I’m at your meet & greet, I walk your dog, I write your report cards, and I answer your messages. No rotating strangers, no handoffs, no gig-app roulette.
What I care about above everything is connection — genuinely understanding the animal at the end of the leash. Your dog gets the same familiar face every time, and I read every report and every rating myself.

I come to you. I meet your dog, learn their routine and quirks, and walk you through how reports, keys, and scheduling work.

Who will actually be walking my dog?
Right now? Me — personally. I walk every dog myself, I’m first-aid certified, and I’m the person you’ll meet at your meet & greet. If the company ever grows beyond me, anyone who walks for The Gotham Dog Company will have to clear a written bar — background check, two called references, 2+ years of professional dog walking experience, a live evaluation walk, and first aid certification — and you’ll always meet them before any walk happens.
How do group walks work?
Groups never exceed three dogs — up to four only in our 2-hour Park Playtime sessions — and are built by temperament and energy level, all walked together by the same hands — a nervous senior is never grouped with a boisterous adolescent. If we don't have the right group for your dog, we'll tell you, and recommend solo walks instead.
How do you handle my keys and building access?
Keys are stored in a coded system that never links a key to an address, and I’m fully insured and bonded. In doorman buildings, I register with your front desk and follow your building’s procedures exactly.
What if my dog has an emergency during a walk?
I’m certified in canine first aid and follow a set emergency procedure: you're called immediately, and your dog is transported to your vet or the nearest 24-hour animal hospital per your signed care authorization. You'll never wonder what happened — it's documented minute by minute.
